For those who are interested - I am starting production of first batch of 10. This means that within some time I will have hardware of adapters assembled, then I will deal with tailoring SW for new HW, and then they will be available for ordering. I will supply Altera BB-II with each adapter so that users can upgrade FPGA configuration in the field in case bugs will be found.

Very good news!!! and so cool that you are doing this! I hope a lot of people will get one! Then we can have MSX-LAN party!!

Hope we can have such a LAN party in Nijmegen! (If not 2016 then in 2017) Tongue

Guys, I still need your opinion how to name devices in the BASIC.
"TCP2B:" = adapter 2 socket 1 (B), or
"TCPC1:" = adapter 2 (C) socket 1
In other words, adapter A/B/C/D with sockets 0 and 1 or adapter 0/1/2/3 with sockets A and B.

Further, this decision will impact other BASIC commands, for example:
CALL NETSETIPB - set fixed config IP address for adapter 2 (B), or
CALL NETSETIP1 - same
In other words, identifying target adapter for the command by A/B/C/D or 0/1/2/3.

Please look at it from your BASIC programming experience, and share your opinion. If you have better way to address 4 adapters with 2 sockets each, please also share.

Hello, anyone is willing to design cartridge stickers?
I am not proficient in it. I will be very glad if anyone with artistic talent would help making the stickers looking better and more attractive than just a set of words and simple logo pictures Smile

Hi Eugeny! Very cool that you already think about the stickers Big smile Does that mean you are finalizing the tests ?

I prefer TCP[number][letter].

Can't be the same command to all adapters with some arguments? Like:

CALL NETSETIP(0)

That's like CALL COMINI works for serial adapters.

It looks great on the pictures in the pdf!

Remark: I/O port 10H-12H is used by the MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD 2nd PSG. As it can’t be detected, software such as VGMPlay will blindly send a stream of arbitrary bytes to these I/O ports when playing back dual-PSG music files. I think the results of this could not be pretty.

The best I/O space IMO would be to use a switched I/O port, as GR8NET has an FPGA and uses mostly memory-mapped I/O this may be a comfortable place to live in, safely tucked away if the device hasn’t been selected. Try to avoid 48H-49H though if possible because unfortunately Franky uses those with no regard to the selected device ID (:/). May I suggest device ID “EB”? :)

Question: In the browser, I wonder why WAV files need to be loaded with the TAB key while all other file types are loaded with the RET key?

Question: Will it come with Nextor DOS?

Question: What will it cost? :)
