Den Helder is way off the route for any Limburg-ppl ... as well for all the MSX'ers from Noordscheschut, just to name a metropole.. ^_^
No location is perfect, even Bussum is quite a ride for south'ish ppl. Tilbeurs was also a foreign country for ppl from Grunny... you can't serve them all..

Best deal is to drive along with ppl going from A'dam ..

wolf, I kinda figured you would react with Noordscheschutish thinge... That's why I chose an evenly extreme as Grunny... In short... Den Helder.

If I would've done a fair in, say, Den Helder and you need to go by train... you wouldn't come either...You do realize you're saying this to someone who traveled to Madrid and twice to Tokyo just to visit some MSX fairs, don't you? ^_^

well, practically speaking: last few years, the regular fairs were more of a meet 'n greet.. as there usually was hardly anything to buy. And I don't think it's bad perse, and I don't think ppl experience as being bad, they just come. Naturally, when a fair is being held at a certain distance, one might doubt whether it's worth attending. After all, it's not that on a fair, far away, there's suddenly a great deal of booths, masses of ppl, many new products, etc., like the old Tilburg/Zandvoort fairs. It's just another meet 'n greet. I can imagine however that visiting Tokyo is, regarding fairs/meetings, something different compared to the recent years here in NL. I guess it's all up to a 'do you want to meet & greet?'-choice..
