Hello everyone, I have just finished a task which I wanted to do for several months (or even maybe years).

I ported some art and music of legendary Heroes of Might and Magic III into MSX, making nice demo.

It is not a game, my goal was to show what MSX+GR8NET can do. However I am sure your children can enjoy it even in this shape and condition :)

It took me about a week to get things together - convert and prepare bitmaps, audio, develop how things will get programmed and which functionality will be there and which will not. I had to rework NETPLAYBUF routines completely as when I started using them, their original design made me really upset  There were also some firmware bugs fixed along the development (namely in NETPLAYVID).

I thank people who were advising me and helping solving the issues I faced, namely -
- edoz for testing and idea to use mouse (really amazing feature!)
- NYYRIKKI for VDP command making sprites having black color in them
- Manuel for advice using ENASCR and DISSCR system calls

Genius. I can not think of other words. what amazing. It's what I need to make a pretty game in basic. Just play directly music and pcm samples. But also the fast data to the vdp.

Thank you all for good words. Game's main BASIC file is in the archive, study it, and you will see that making such applications is really easy.

I would love someone continue development of this demo into a real game, using data and code in the archive freely; I will be advising on coding and implementation to make it happen.

Or, after reviewing demo's code, you may decide to start making your own game, demo or application. Feel free contacting me for advice and help.

The GR8NET is the most powerful additional hardware at the moment for our system. Especially the BASIC support ist very exceptional and practical. I'm curious to see where that leads for further projects.

Great! May I refer to your video in the manual in the chapter of flash chip firmware upgrade?
