Hello, I reworked the great in-game music of good old arena shooter "The Roving Planet Styllus" (a.k.a. Planète Mobile) to 'modern' standards and put some game footage under it:

Original sound can be listened to here:

I've got many more skeletons of re-arrangements lying around and I'm open to requests.

Very nice! Maybe you could make a CD Edition of the game (upgrade the game to MSX2, so it won't have sprite flicker, add your music as a CD track)... would be pretty cool!

Thanks! And, yeah! I thought of making a 'fake' vid of the game with nicer graphics to accompany it, but I thought it was too much work. Wink
Re-arranging the music of the entire soundtrack would be not so hard, since the game has only 4 songs plus 2 small ones.

But it would already look very very good on MSX2, I think.

Titanic was indeed being contemplated. Big smile

For fans of European PSG tunes, I should have another 'surprise' shortly. Wink

Since the Titanic music seems at least a little bit inspired by Pachelbel's Canon in D Major, a nice orchestral arrangement would probably do it good.
Only then with drums ofcourse. :)

(Another version of the song, sound is slightly less good but with better visuals ;))

Terramex music, I can actually not remember - will listen it again shortly.
Astro Marine Corpse, that's a nice one, but the original song is very short, so it will demand some more creativity in arranging. Wink
Auf Wiedersehen Monty.. oh my, that's the other end of the spectrum; a very long song and relatively complicated.

Here is the title track of Auf Wiedersehen Monty, as played in a rehearsal session of well-known C64 gametune-coverband "Press Play On Tape" -
the guy who is playing the flute has actually co-composed the tune!!!

OMG, now I must become a fan of John. Never knew he was so talented...
I just wish I could produce a barely c00l game in order to ask John a song for it...

John Hassink = The New David Whittaker!

MRC should have a fan functionality or something like facebook/orkut and etc.
So far, I'm a fan of NIKRIKI, Artrag, BifiMSX, hap and now DemonSeed...

Thanks, but, you must be joking. Smile

Since I've been one of your LinkedIn contacts for so long anyway, you can ask me anytime, bro, anytime.. Wink

Everyone here knows that you CAN produce a cool game for MSX or whatever platform!

Amiga game UTOPIA has a full implementation of Pachelbel's Canon in D Major...

Titanic was quite different.
