OK, so I was finally able to track down an LR1120 battery, and sure enough, the Melody Module is working now! However, it's very quiet -- it uses that white plastic concave circle as a sort of amplification chamber for the audio, but it needs to be attached to the device JUST RIGHT or else it either doesn't amplify the sound enough, or it vibrates and distorts it.

In order to sound the way it's supposed to, the plastic circle needs to be held in firmly against the speaker, and that doesn't seem like it's ever going to happen without me just holding it down while I push the button.

So my last question here is... is there any way you guys can think of for me to secure the plastic circle to the speaker firmly, so I get the proper sound every time? I was thinking... hot glue, maybe?

Again, I've never done anything like this before, so I don't want to use the wrong thing. But if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to know, as I'm kind of set on getting this sounding perfect now. Wink

Thanks!

-Tom
