We get it, 256 colors. You done bitching about Manuel's shop now?

I'm not bitching about Manuel's shop instead i'm giving very good solid reasons why i will not buy from that site whilst insecure.Manuel is perfectly entitled to run he's store and pages as he see fit i have no complaint with that as i have said before

I will just go else ware and buy another product safely and securely or the easy option would be Manuel too add ssl encryption if he wants too?

As ren said, sending an email and using PayPal should be enough to protect your personal data from hackers. But your computer, or mine, could have a troyan/virus that collects that information and send it to the hacker/attacker.

Also, trading in person does not seem to be secure. There are rumors of Snatchers in Neo Kobe. That things look like the real person, but they are not. Be careful!
Anyway, if the person is real, we need to verify that the money is real and not fake.

I have added SSL to the web, but I think we need to make things more secure. So:
- The buyer must send a valid ID card by a secure method (not scanned, that can be easily modified with Photoshop)
- The buyer must send a census certificate to verify the shipping address
- If the address matches with the one in his verified PayPal account, then the order is acepted.
- The cartridge will be sent by diplomatic bag, or similar. Postmans' bags are not secure.
- At delivery, a notary will confirm that the cartridge arrived. An attacker/scammer could say that he received a box full of bolts and nuts.
- The notary will stay with the user to verify that he is using the cartridge in the right way. He could use it wrong or damage on porpouse to get a refund.
- All that extra costs/services will be payed by the final user, on behalf of his security.

I think this is quite reasonable. Any other ideas to improve security in MSX trading/selling scene?

Happy new year! And let's keep our sense of humor! (^_^)

As long as I'm not sure if me is me, I wish you also a happy new year, Manuel!

Sorry, Hamlet. But I need to be sure that you are you:

"You’re in a desert walking along in the sand when all of the sudden you look down, and you see a tortoise, crawling toward you. You reach down, you flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can’t, not without your help. But you’re not helping. Why is that? "

No, that's not me. I'm in a comfortable tunnel like a hall. To the east there is a round green door.
I see:
The Wooden Chest
Madonna is ''Getting Into the Groove'' and Whitney Houston is ''Saving all her Love''
No tortoise around here. Maybe in the Wooden Chest.

In that case, I would recommend a MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD with 512K memory option for your cartridge and disk image needs. There are also alternatives, but I have good experience with this one and it’s easy to use.

Cassette you can easily load from your phone with Android apps.

Wrong information regarding link

I get this instead of a thank you for trying to assist.

Next time I just won’t reply to your posts anymore.

Maybe take a look at your own attitude, both regarding how to treat others and community trust. And maybe take the embarrassment on your own shoulders instead of shoving it onto another.
