Hello,

What happened to www.cx5m.net site ?

It used to have plenty of information about Yamaha MSX music computers...

Now that I finally have two of these machines... with keyboards... The site is down... :-(

Does anybody know a mirror ? A RAR file with all contents of the site ?

Thanks,

Werner

I contacted the owner: site had been hijacked, ownership is back again, but it will take some time to restore all. However, msx.org got the permission to store and extend the cx5m.net information also in the MRC Wiki.

Hmm, grit, I noticed that the result of _MUSIC in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=QR... shows a different program that the one I get when doing _MUSIC in openMSX.

I thought it might be caused by SFG-01 vs SFG-05, but I can't find the SFG-01 ROM anywhere. The one on your site points to SFG-05...

Can you confirm/deny this theory? If yes, can you fix the link on your site? :) Thanks in any case.

I've put the SFG-01 file back on cx5m.net too, it was indeed missing, thanks! The guy on youtube has the SFG-01 module installed. I'll add the video to the site, it's pretty informative.

Thanks, although the ROM image you put there is 64kB, it has 4 identical sections of 16kB.

I did do that indeed, I grabbed the complete 64K from the MSX because I wasn't sure which part was addressed by the hardware if you burn this to a 64K EPROM.
