I noticed this video in the youtube feed:

there's another one as well, maybe more

I have no idea if it's old or new and MSX-original or simulated, but it definately SOUNDS like the PSG already. It has a bit of a USAS style to it. Anyone knows what it actually is?

It sure sounds like true PSG to me. It seems to be arrangements of the music from this "visual novel game":
D.C. ~Da Capo
Never heard it before, but it sound pretty nice, so thanks! :)

It sounds like an arrangement of Sorcerian music. Based on the description it might be of the scenario "caverns of ice" but it is too long ago since I played it to say for sure.

Indeed, Randam, that's the one.

By the way, even if the game itself seems to be a bit weirdish to you (haven't really played it myself, either), I can recommend anyone to give the Sorcerian soundtrack a listen. At least I'm totally fascinated/obsessed by it for quite some time. ;) Here is the entire soundtrack of the PC88 version:

Well, I think that Sorcerian, once you get to know the the complexities, is a great game with nice expansions. Especially pyramid Sorcerian. The soundtrack is awesome like JohnHassink says. A real shame not all scenarios made for the PC88 were converted to msx as well, because there are a LOT.
