Hello guys. I have done some testing using the PT3 Tools BASIC driver. It only works if I press Control during the boot to release more memory, although the official documentation (the TXT file) does not mention this need. I tried to use the Clear command to reserve more memory, but it did not help. Only works pressing Control. Is there a workaround for this? Thank you.

It's a great PT3 player. Has anyone tested it on MSX BASIC? I tested on blueMSX, openMSX and on a real 2+ machine.

CTRL at bootup indicates its in (too) hi memory. The memory is used by something else, mostly disk basic. You need to move the assembly to another area. Maybe the music is to big to fit. In basic including the music this can be an problem. Clear x,address only protects the area.
In theory the music player could be adopted to run in 0x0000-0x7fff range, but that requires extra coding assembly.
Maybe its time to switch over to assembly completely and ditch basic, you can use any memory everywhere....
