I am searching the net for midi files of Konami's Quarth, but I could only find one, which I don't recognize being from the game. I'm searching for the level music. Does anyone know if the excist, and if so, where to find them?

I checked the stuff I have lying around, no Quarth midi. (Any reason you're looking for .mid in particular?)

I do wonder what Jan van Valburg had in his archive though (https://web.archive.org/web/19990429011101/http://rpgfan.imp...) :)

If you allow me to hijack this thread a bit, making it more a general 'looking for this music': anyone that knows of a Testament kss (or music in another format perhaps)? :)

Does this work for you? :) Doesn't sound too crappy when using the right soundfont.. :)

I also got interesting results converting the X68000 version using VGM to MIDI + OPM + SYSEX tool for YM2151. You would have to use VOPM to make it sound (kinda) properly though.

Thanks ren, the "not so crappy" version works for me Smile

👍  So, just wondering (if you'd like to share): do you have any special use case for it? Smile

I am working on a puzzle game for msx 2 and higher. It’s a kind of a trip through memory lane and I need some wellknown tunes for background music. The music is the last part of the game and I am aiming to release it on the nijmegen fair in October. More info will follow later this year.

Ah! So how are you importing these midi's? Do you do some kind of conversion, and what replayer is used here? Smile

No importing, pure brute manual labor. Use a tracker on pc to load te midi, and type it over in moonblaster wave.

I can probably do a close to 1:1 and a bit for you. Can you link me a youtube url to the track?
The problem with the mid files scattered over the net is that they're more often total p00p than not.

Crap? Wink

A YT URL? Don't you think there are better ways to listen to / study the track? Smile
