Note that due to a limitation of the OPL4 the replay of a sample starting at another address than the start address is not possible run-time (the SampleOffset command 9 in module).
It’s a bit bothersome, but you could scan the song data in advance for which sample offsets occur, and set up separate instruments for them accordingly…
Yes was thinking about that as well. Maybe worth a try.
Thanks for this new version, today I try some mod for test.
Another small update to improve the loading times, available at the same location.
Thanks, today I testing a 20/30 music mod and all ok on old version.
Later I share a drive link with some Mod with some little problem.
Thanks again.
Just a small update: RoboPlay now also supports the use of M3U playlists, for non-stop listening
Lastest version can be downloaded here
Yippi! Nice feature!
@ToriHino : great! I like Your dedication to roboplay!
And just added a randomize function to the M3U playlist as well, use /R as additional option (note: RoboPlay without any arguments will show help on how to use).
I still have to improve on the parsing speed of the playlist, using a list of > 250 files can take some time, especially when not using a Turbo-R
(How) Do you deal with file names > 8.3 characters? Or people should just prepare playlists specifically for the MSX?
