Hi All

Made a 32K Flash /EEProm module for fun.

32K text is a MSX 40 font and cut out where possible.

Hope you like it.

It can host more chips, but basically i designed it for the at28c256 and at29c256. The last one is easy to find on old pc motherboards (flashbios).

See you Hannibal

Just fit in the 8000..

Hi Wlcracks,
Nice PCB. Which tools and/or services did you use to design/build this?

Thanks all.

Cadsoft Eagle (not the audodesk version Evil ) and conrad pcb service.
Parts are soldered by me. With a conrad hot air gun and flux.
I am planning a msx arduino samd/usb/sram/rom something pcb, but i have to figure out some stuff first.

Wow, bought this hot air soldering station today and I´m really impressed. Never use hot air tools before.

Cool, glad you like it. I recommend the smallest tip at 370oC at slowest airflow. Use no clean flux and alchol or special cleaning fluid.
Keep on fluxing!! Use ventilation.
There are lots o videos on smd on youtube.
Conrad has smd components. I order at rs and farnell mostly for my profession.
