Perhaps someone might want to grab the pictures, and put them somewhere useful? I never saw these advertised anywhere in the UK although Computermates was/is a UK company

Thanks, added it to Generation MSX. Since computer mates almost only made software published by Philips, I wonder if this is just a clone of the Philips NMS 1200 disk interface.

I don't know? I thought it was the other way round? Computermates stuff is on ROM cartridge, the word processor, database, and spreadsheet, is it similar to to NMS1200, i did notice that the boot screen contained the drive type as well? I did bid, but lost out, never mind, these things happen! or a more commonly used phrase in the UK "Shit happens"

Who ever won this auction and reads this: please contact us to dump that disk ROM. It seems rare Smile Never seen that 720K DS stuff on the boot screen.

The well known Philips Home Office software suite was written by Computer Mates, I think that's what Sylvester means.

To make the ROM dump, use SAVEROM.COM from http://frs.badcoffee.info/files/MSX_machine_reverse_engineer... and save the full slot which has the interface. So start address 0, end address ffff.

It could very well be a Philips interface. If Computer Mates developed software for Philips, they were apparently given a pre-release version. Hence the unique disk basic version. Later they applied their own sticker to it.
