Anyone ever tried a floppy emulator inside an MSX ?

Yesterday, I installed my SD HxC Floppy Emulator and it's work perfectly on my NMS 8245.
My MSX will never die.

Can these be used in a MSX1 or would I need extra hardware (memory mapper etc.)

@Buleste: If your MSX has a drive (double sided). Then it should be possible to replace it.

Those are very good alternatives to Sharksym/sinfox's SD/MMC since the last one is not for sale anymore.

@Huey Unfortunately it does not. Just the bog standard parallel port.
