Hi everybody,
i have a problem with beer202 and MSXDOS2.
My machine is a nms-8245 (128kb ram), which runs fine with beer202 (hdrom V1.9)
and msxdos1. I like to use dos2 (subdirectories). With the beer-interface in one slot
and msxdos2-cartridge in the other slot, dos complains "not enough memory".
Without the beer-interface, dos2 runs perfect.
What can i do? Memory-upgrade internal (no more slots free),
or is it possible to put MSXDOS2 and the BEER-BIOS together in one EPROM?
Any Ideas?
Thank you
Manbow

if i could choose a piece of hardware that is good i would choose sunrise CF !!!! it lets the sun shine in your MSX again without any bulky mechanical parts and the best of all dos 2.20 is onboard too!!!!!! And you have one slot free for a memory mapper!! 128KB could work, but some programs simply will not work this is caused by Dos 2.20 because it also wants a slice from the 128kb main ram !!! 256KB give's the best experience!! you could ask @Repairbas if he has or knows a way to get memory chips for upgrading the main ram without stripping another MSX !!! the best solution for you is finding a good memory mapper!!!
with the use of tools that assign a partition to a drive
