Hi
Apologies if this has been asked before.
I am wanting to build a ACSII 8KB mapper cartridge that works with 128k games. (27C010)
I have tried the the only schematic i could find but unfortunately I can not get it to work.
ASCII Schematic

Could somebody be so kind as to post a working schematic (74LS logic preferred) or suggest why the linked one does not work.
I am not sure if the ASCII rom files I have need to be manipulated any way to function with the linked schematic.
I know we cant get MegaRom devices but i am looking for a single game cartridge experience.

I have the same schematic, but never made it before.
Should work though.

I have a Multi-FlashRom mapper schematic that uses jumpers to select ASCII, Konami or SCC, but no more information about it.
Maybe someone recognizes it...

with my proto PCB i can use ASCII mapper / KONAMI K4 / KONAMI K5(SCC) without SCC CHIP

What does not work? Do you have equipment to make measurements ?

hi I use the schema you have, I have them compacted into a single proto (ascii / zemina / scc) they all work, check your roms if they have not been patched, if you are looking for a konami flash rom / sunrice / rom 1664 / floppy / FMPAK / RAM / other .. I have some available
look on the site of msxvillage.fr there is plenty of editing and tutorial, at the top right in search tape future production and enter

If you have something like WBASS2 (application) you can check if the mapper works by selecting the correct slot and issuing poke commands to the mapper addresses and check if it shows the various pages in the ROM.

ASCII and SCC work only after flashing the ROM.
If you shut down MSX, ROM doesn't work.
You need to init pages at reset that is not possible with 74LS.
Witch loader do you use ?

I see that the RD is connected to OE, so the cartridge occupies the full 64kb address space of the slot. Are the pages correctly mapped into the slot? If you don't have the ROM at 0x4000 with AB signature, it won't start.
