Yes, i know, but thank you. Unfortunately that site is not multilanguage Sad
The technobytes cartridge itself has only one ide connection, i suppose? (instead of CF and IDE).
Futhermore, i see that the price is 300 brazilian real, that 73 euro. With shipping, tax, customs etc. this one will be approx. 110/120 euro i suppose.
The solution in this topic is much more attractive, also from financial perspective, i think Wink

As already mentioned, the FDD+IDE controller is ready and working properly. The work with Carnivore MultiFlash SCC cartridge is in the final stage. Recently we updated the FlashROM manager utility with mapper autodetect, verbose mode, auto-flash mode (no user interaction), editing of registers for all cartridge's directory entries. The boot block and the FlashROM Manager are being tested on different MSX machines now. The pics of the boot block's directory and help screen can be seen below.

So, its PCB and all needed components and no casing, correct?

I would not recommend to use a hot air soldering station to mount Altera chips. The Altera MAX, EEPROM and FDC controller chips can be easily mounted to the FDD/IDE controller's board with a normal soldering iron. Soldering Altera FLEX to Carnivore SCC cartridge's board with a soldering iron is quite tricky and requires good skills and soldering paste. But it's doable, I did it twice myself.

Please note that I am not selling any DIY kits, cases or ready-made cartridges. I only have 2 FDD/IDE controller boards left. If you would like to make a batch of boards for yourself, I can share Gerber files and firmware/ROM images for non-commercial use. Please contact me if interested.

Good news! We have our Carnivore2 cartridge in the debugging stage. The RAM, mapper, FlashROM, IDE (CF Card) work well, the FMPAC with English BIOS is working, SCC and OPLL music plays quite well. I will create a separate topic for this device once we finish the testing.

Yes, FlashROM + RAM + IDE + FMPAC + SCC. All in one. Can be used separately or in any combination. Just a few final touches and we will release the sources. Some boards are available for sale.
