@l_oliveira : interested about your rewrited rom for an MSX2+ upgrade on my FS-A1...
This is the ROM I use to upgrade A1F to MSX2+
128KB image for A1F 2+ with turbo basic rom
Thank you so much
Interested in trying this myself but I have a FS-A1 without the Kanji ROM. Is there a way to insert a Kanji ROM into an A1? If not, what kind of compatibility issues would I run into without it? Thanks for your time

hello I am trying to mount the mk2 but with two eprom the first with the msxbasic and the msx2pext (48k) and the second epromm with the kanji.
what your 128k epromm is made of.
you have the loose files and I put them together to be able to record them in the epromm
my idea is to use the two banks of epromm with two m27c512
The FS-A1mk2 has no kanji ROM. In my FS-A1mk2 the 128kB ROM holds main BIOS, sub BIOS, RTC reset (those add up to 64kB) and 64kB of the cockpit firmware. If you replace this with a M27C512 holding just main BIOS, sub BIOS and RTC reset ROM you can leave out the 32kB ROM.
I used FRS’ msx2newdrv BIOS for my machine (Alexey did all the work as I have 2 left hands, possibly more
The idea is to use the 128 way home, which is ready, but given the fact that it is practically empty, it would be to use only one of 64 boxes in each bank in the first bank to use it as it was prepared now in fact if I record the 128k one. 64 starts already as msx2 +. In the original tutorial the second bank is used for a 512k memory expansion. I have used some BIOS that I have recorded AND the mk2 I tried to access this bank at startup because it hangs. Before converting it to MS X2 plus I had it with a 64k BIOS only In which I had removed the copic only. The idea is to split the BIOS from msx2 + and try to put it in the two banks
If I had individual files or knew which computers they came from, I would look for them and mount them with the copy command. With the exacesimal editor of the epromm recorder I have not been able to because when I do the copy command I lose data as I have to drag the content with the mouse
the bios of msx2 + mk2 of 128k It comes from it comes from the a1fx ???
