zPasi,

I thinked the same solution but i think 2.4A is a little too juste. Choose 3A!

The power supply seems to cause some interference that brings ripples onto the screen when the computer's case is closed. This doesn't happen when the case is open. I believe that this interference comes from unschielded high voltage components inside the PSU. So I decided to make an external enclosure for the power supply. I managed to find the suitable DIN plug and I will post the images once I design and print the external case.

The model is ready. Estimated 19 hours of printing for both parts and around 180 grams of PLA altogether. Like the original, the top will be black and the bottom will be white or semi-transparent. The power switch and power LED are optional.

My 3D printer is not printing too well, but just well enough to make a home-made PSU case:

I added the LED and the power switch. Otherwise the power will be on once the 220v plug gets inserted into the mains.

The engraving will be added later, after the PSU gets tested for many hours.

Currently testing the PSU with Philips VG-0010 MSXC and Nemesis3:

What tools are used to engrave plastic like that?

For engraving I am using the KKmoon 3000 mW laser engraver:
