Very nice and very compact. That will be able to fit virtually anywhere. The trimmer doesn't look too convenient since it points towards the connectors.

I know, thats my first improvementpoint on a second version.
I tried to flip it so the trimmer is pointing upwards but there is not enough space.

Fortunatly I have to tim it only once.

There is a trimmer of that exact size and socket config that is 10 turn however. This one has a small ten turn copper on top. I remember paying 1,30 for one piece. They are expensive but they might be a solution towards the problem.

Today I finaly had the time to test it and its working.
I cut wire 49 from the flatcable on the cartridge connector and took the +/-12V from the connector itself.

Found a nice free spot to mount the PCB and connected the cables.

Also I turned the trimmer, so it's possible to trim with the connectors connected.

Played some SCC music and put something heavy on the keyboard, so I got a continues keyboard click (PSG) and SCC music. Trimmed it on the right level and it sound good.

For the people that have mailed me, I will send you a mail with the details.
If there are more people interested in this assembled PCB, please send me a mail or reply in this topic.
The costs are € 10,- + shipping

Hi

FINALLY (ok, so I moved continents, no excuse!) I'm fitting luppies board into my philips 8250

how do I best get the cartridge connectors and board out of the case, so I can solder the flyleads? will it just come out when removing the side screws or is it still mounted /attached to the motherboard? whats the best way?

Do you know if luppie is still selling those amps? I sent him an email but got no reply.
