I was reading your first message wrong, I thought it said that the C2 was very slow, as it negates this advantage, but C2 is fast, so maybe something is wrong at your end? Smile

I also re-read the post several times, and looks like @djh1697 is satisfied with C2, but then says that it has a problem, but definition of problem is not related to C2.

@djh1697, can you please elaborate? If you have issue with C2, then please contact Alexey, otherwise please clarify how C2 and casette interface relate to each other.

There is no issues!! I am commenting about the speed of loading a ROM file, obviously it is almost instant from the C2 flash memory, a few seconds from the CF card, and a few minutes via cassette

Haha, that seems clear, you mean, how things got from real slow in the 80's to really fast nowadays.

Carnivore 2 if configured as IDE only in non-expanded slot is working fine in slotexpander (at least, with Modulon from Supersoniqs, i have only this expander)

Is that an answer to the question? (SD/CF)

Please, sir, spare my life...

I know that an USB isn´t a SD/CF, but I thought it could be an answer....

Sorry again...

And there are some USB CF/SD adapters after all... On a PC, they are seen as external storages just like a USB stick. So maybe this was indeed a right answer to the question (not tested yet with my RookieDrive)?
