Did someone notice this: (I found the item on MSX Posse)

I submitted the following comment:
This seems to be a prototype of a Yamaha MSX2. The motherboard says YIS-604 and CX7(M).
MSX2 was released in 1985, so it must be earlier than that. MSX(1) machines got released in 1983, so I guess it is from around that time, around 1984.
The photo http://www.digibarn.com/collections/games/msx-prototype/CIMG9421.JPG shows that the machine has an S-3527 MSX-ENGINE (called MSX-SYSTEM in Japan). This is the first attempt to put a whole computer on one chip. (A few years ago made reality by release of the 1-chip-MSX, with a whole MSX in an FPGA...) More info about this on Wikipedia, also on the Japanese Wikipedia.
