Hi! Hope you can help me with this problem I have.

I had a broken FDD on my Mitsubishi ML-G3 MSX-2. I decided to replace it and add one as it has two drive slots.I replaced it with two original second-hand drives for this computer (Mitsubishi original drives), but it does not recognize the two of them when they are connected at the same time. I have been looking on the main board to see if there was a jumper and also in the FDD drives as well, but I cannot ascertain what I have to do and there seems to be no jumpers (see link for photos). How should I solve this? Thanks in advance Smile

The drive has some jumpers, so it may be configured. You need to set one drive as DS0 and the other as DS1, otherwise they will be conflicting with each other. The picture of the board is not clear, so I can't find the DS jumpers. What is the exact model of the drive?

I can make out some jumpers near the drive motor/connector. The image is indeed a bit blurry but my mind makes me read DS0 on the furthest one from the motor (left side in the image). If both drive have a jumper installed it may be enough to remove the jumper from 1 of the drives...

Yes it seems I have been able to solve it... It seems that with jumper for FDD 1 in position 0 and jumper for FDD in position 1 works.
