Everything is possible, more defects at same time are possible. But the memory error still remains, i don't know TestMap internals but i don't think it would report a memory error at 8100 in RAM if the ROM is defected and the RAM is working.
You have 2 options to repair this computer. Or you gonna learn yourself or you hand it over to a experienced person. More options through forum chat is, for me, not possible.

It seems that the basic ram in slot 2 is faulty. At least I know where to look
thanks for the thoughts everyone. don't know what i'm going to do yet, maybe first piggybag that ram before replacing the ram,

Wow.
Your ram is in slot 3-2 128kb.
The screen shows "No failures in slot 1.2 512kb"
And you report that "basic ram", whatever that is, in slot 2 is faulty.
You lost me here....

I have a megaflash 512kb rom and used this, otherwise, i can not get into msx-dos by disk with this computer, cos it won't load by it self, one of the strange behavior of this computer, so i can load testram from disk. little omweg. base ram i don't know what that is either yet, but definitely not the vram i suppected first
