Is the viseo titlling software for a PX7 useable on the NMS8280? I have loads of PX7 stuff, just wondered if it was interchangeable ?

I doubt that. The hardware is so different. The NMS8280 and HB-900(A)P are MSX-2 machines with the 9938 and the superimpose/digitizing is using that via the standard MSX-2 Basic SET VIDEO statement. The PX-7 is a MSX-1 with special hardware for video and control of a Laserdisc player (as you can see in the service manual) and has its own Basic extension called P-Basic.

Hello,

sorry to revive such an old post, but I have a Pioneer PX7 too but lacks of software.
All I have is a couple of cartridges and I would like to get more programs for it.

djh1697: Could you send them to me or upload somewhere?

regards
