Hello,
Do you know if I can adjust the colour on a Pioneer PX-V60 so it can be memorized like on a MSX2? A friend of mine has this problem : when he boots it, the inicial screen has a green background. If he changes it to Screen 0, it's all fine but the upper and lower side of the screen is green instead of blue. Can someone help him?
Thank you!

There are some pictures so you can see the problem :

Your MSX probably needs a little repair. Are the other colors displayed normally?

Mine PX-V60, also my National FS-4000 do have this green background color, too. Other colors seems to be ok.

What if you connect something to the video input? Does it appear where the green colour is?

My friend says that the other colours are displayed normally. He also says that if he changes the screen mode or the colour, then it changes to the correct one. It isn't a video output problem. He can't adjust it in MSX 1, he doesn't know if it is a failure or if it could be adjusted for being a different Basic. He noticed that if he inserts a cartridge, the blue colours are shown in green. If he changes the screen mode or colour to : 15.4.4, then it changes to the correct colours without problems. He changes it but when he does a reset to the MSX, it remains in green colours the blue ones. A friend told him that it could be that the superimpose mode could be activated but he doesn't know if it's activated or not.
Thanks.

But my my National FS-4000 shows the same background color and it do not have a superimpose mode. Therefore a typwriter, which is cool, too.

It makes me think that I have already seen MSX1s with the color 7 a little more greenish of the normal.

If he uses the CALL IMPOSE instruction, then nothing changes. He still has the green colour at the image.

If he enters the screen 0 mode, then the borders are shown with the blue colour :

In both machines, the National and the Pioneer, the F6 key is occupied by color 15,4,7.
So this seems to be the default setting.
I did never noticed that, but it is just one more thing that makes me laught after all these years...
@pingpong
It reads 7
