It seems the only thing left it needs now is a RetroBright treatment Smile

Nice work on fixing this computer.
On msxarchive.nl is an archive with all the openmsx roms, it should have the ones you need.

I remember sending the Sony 700P romdumps to Manuel in order to be in his zip full of machines/extensions which he can't bundle with openMSX obviously, but shares it on request. Not sure if they're in a usable format as is though.

Thanks, everyone. The dumped images of the original F700P ROM chips will be sent to me by one of my customers.

The original ROM images were burned into the 27c256 eproms and installed into the machine. All is working fine. Now I am only missing the reset button, but it is coming from Bas already.

I would be still interested to buy or trade an original English keyboard for my Sony.

The one I sent you is the P version which is used in the UK as well. Mind the £ key Smile

Hmmm, I thought the extra symbol key under Enter would be present only on non-English keyboards. The computer with English BIOS doesn't react on it. All other keys work as expected.

That the (how we called it back in the day) dead key... The key you press after it is affected by it. First press this dead key and then a vowel (a, e, etc.). It'll get an accent on top of it. This key can be used together with some shift, ctrl, etc. combos to get every accent on this key. Other keyboards could use the code key and some random letter to achive this.
