Hi,

I want to rewire the power connectors on my NMS8250.

They look like this:

Do you know how to remove the pins without destroying them? Or where to order them new?

Let me know.

I'd contact Bas Kornalijnslijper. He should be able to help you as he's famous for his huge stack of Philipses and spare parts on fairs.

Why you want to rewire them, are they broken?

In any case, I'd check some standard molex (PC power misnomer - I think the correct term is AMP MATE-N-LOK Series ???) connectors. They are ubiquitous, and they (females) might have the same caliber as the male headers on the (MB/PSU) boards (haven't checked, though). Granted you will need to dismantle one, but that way you should be able to make a functional solution - make sure the connectors can not short, however!

Contacting Bas is definitely a good advice, too,.

Hi,
Power connectors can carry either an alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC).
