If your interested I could probably provide both (picture(s) and romdump) of the Sanyo MRS RS232 interface.

Well, thank you for the offer! Smile

Generation-MSX already has good pictures of the MRS-001 board, so there's no need to disassemble yours.

But the ROM dump and some nice pictures of the cartridge case, manuals disks etc would be very welcome indeed. The pictures would to be uploaded to Generation-MSX as a contribution. :)

My e-mail is sdsnatcheralpha at that big e-mail service from Google.

ROM dump in your mailbox.

Ah, yes, I had forgotten about posting those pictures on Generation MSX, unfortunately I dont own manuals or any disks / didnt get anything with the interface. Cant actually even remember how I got the interface in the first place.

Thank you so much for the dump! And indeed it was worth it, because this BIOS is different from the generic RS-232 BIOS v1 that openMSX has, with one big advantage: it has a fix for the bug that caused the older v1 BIOS to freeze on MSX>=2 computers. Now developers will have a proper v1 RS232 BIOS for testing.

I'll contact the openMSX team ASAP.

I assume it has the same codebase as the victor hc-90/hc-95 because that rs232 version 1.0 rom include a number of fixes as well
