Hey guys,

I was digging through my OLD CABLES box and found a SCART - x3 Pin Jacks in turn fitted to SCART ADAPTER but when i plug it in to the SCART Socket on my Sony Trinitron TV and into the back of my Sony Hit Bit I don't get a picture !

OK So what I am needing is a Wiring diagram for the SCART Sockets as I will just make up my own SCART Cable ! Usint the two SCART plugs and the right type of cable! Much cheaper than buying one !

Can anyone help out ?

You did not get real RGB signal with that adapter, only composite. It is Audio L/R and video via cinch. Even really good SCART cables are very cheap, why solder one by yourself?

Yeah, just get a fully wired SCART-SCART cable, they cost only a few euros.

Hey guys, Found a scart to scart today and the picture is sharper and well just better. Only thing is, is that its a little bit to the left like its of the screen by 2 mm or something. I thought that usually TV's had a setting to adjust this but mine doesn't. Can this be done on an MSX somehow. Its weird I would have sworn a TV would have this option but mine doesn't seem to. No mention of it in the manual anyway and i cant find any way to do it via the remote or the control buttons on the front.

Set adjust
If you have a battery in your machine, it will remember the settings.

Only on MSX2 and up, though.

Most Sony TV's have a service menu using a combination of keys on the remote. This will usually also allow to shift the image.

This is not written in the manual. I do not have the exact same modell, but this is a common way to get into the service menu in old Sony CRTs:
-Press DISPLAY
-Press Channel 5
-Press Music Volume- (+)
-Press POWER TV.
-SELF CHECK SCREEN
-Press 0, MUTING WRITE, 8 RESET, ENTER/PLAY
-PRESS AND MUSIC VOLUME + (-)
-AUTO PROTRAMMING SEARCH FOR CRT TV
Let me know if this helped you.

Nope. Sorry but your instructions don't seem to match my TV controls or your English is not accurate :/
