This cartridge looks great. But at that price wouldn't it be easier to just buy a whole MSX2(+) machine?

Especially when you know there are problems with some software (at least with the original Japanese version):

this was done with the V9958

It doesn't change the MSX2 games support.

90 USD is expensive?

Well, someone like me buying from europe would have to pay:

350BRL = 108$ (according to today's exchange rate on xe.com)
+45$ shipping
+20% VAT for importing goods outside the EU (this includes the shipping cost)
+ About 5% customs tax on electronics
---------
Total: 188$

this lot is closed, but you could get another 3 people and enjoy the same freight.

Are you going to make any more batches? I would be interested in buying one.

Thank you.

Have you tried sending them an email? They don't appear to be active on this forum anymore. He did post the design files here so in theory anybody could make a batch of these carts, but nobody has done it yet.

You can find MSX2 computers for less than 250 euros, sometimes close to $200.

For example:

I sent him an email weeks ago, with no response.
Do you have the design schematics? The link in the post does not work. I would like to try to make one for myself.

Yeah nostalgia can be a great factor! Also seeing how things were designed and work is nice, stuff we could not afford or even new existed Wink
