You can find MSX2 computers for less than 250 euros, sometimes close to $200.
For 90$ it's a great deal, it's the shipping and import fees to the EU that make it double that price...
Yes, but I would like to make it work on my childhood msx.
I only used IBM-PC clones in my childhood so there's no nostalgia, but a big reason i find MSX insteresting now is because of its expandability. There are all sorts of features that can be added via the cartridge slots which is not as common in the homebrew scenes for other 8bit machines.
I did backup the files awhile back and even got some blank pcb's made, let me know if you're interested in one. The schematic itself appears to be in a format which i assume is Proteus but i haven't had any luck opening it to get a proper BOM.
Oh, please beware the Panasonic FS-A1 and A1mk2 as well as the HB-F1 and HB-F1II. They require a power supply and as such the eBay listing referred to by gdx may not be such a good deal (it does not come with the power supply).
all files of the project here:

Does anyone have those files? The link is down, but I would like to take a look at this project
Maybe take the time to read literally the second-last post on this page before asking this question
I send an email for ordering an m-20, please. I have an MSX2 and I want to upgrade it's graphic chipset to an MSX2+ graphics chipset.
Not sure that will work. The kit is meant to upgrade an MSX1 to MSX2.
It will not work with msx2? What happens if you did put it in msx2?
Is there no kit to upgrade msx2 to msx2+ at all?

You will be disappointed. This cartridge is only useful for MSX1s. And even if you have it don't expect it to fully replace an MSX2.
Hmm. So be it. Thanks mate.
