Hello,

I'm looking for the service manual for a Sanyo MPC-6 (Wavy 6), I can't find that anywhere.
I think the power supply of my specimen is malfunctioning.

Thank you!

Before the big on the PSU PCB the voltage is 150V.
At the last voltage regulator (rated for input of 14-35V and output 12V) only 3,5V goes in.

So somewhere between the coil and the voltage regulator there is an issue.

Could this be the coil that's damaged?
How do I measure a coil?
This one has 8 pins... pin 1 seems to be ground in, but I have no idea what the other pins are.

Any tips?

150V is high. If you can repair your MSX I recommend using a transformer like this:

I still have not been able to repair the PSU for this computer (or maybe the PSU is fine, but the motherboard is broken?)
I replaced all (elco) capacitors and checked the voltage regulator on the PSU PCB.

Can anyone tell me (with some certainty) which color wire is which voltage?
Then I can test the motherboard separately.
The voltages are not indicated on the PCB's :'(

Thanks!
