hit9918: nonsense, you can't continue typing while something is loading...

About HB-F700 roms...will be possible switch between f700 msx2 originals and msx2+ roms conversion if 2+ have:

-Memory counter+ msx2+ logo + kanji + fast disk version (hbf900DISK.ROM?) +allow f4 register in HB-F700S? 27c512?

I´m seeking a good 2+ implementation for mine HB-F700S, time ago i tried this, but without help and no time i cant developed yet by myself:

@PingPong, the rate is 10 interrupts per second instead 50.
The possible rhythms would be slower and fast ADSR things like arpeggio impossible.
While normal diskROM can be stuck for above a second.
And as soon as the bdos function is done, or maybe while stepping up to a track in far distance, the interrupt suddenly goes normal speed, 5 times faster, music changes speed like crazy.
Only diskROM with real new strategy could have musicplayer.

@Manuel, I meant that long halted interrupts means swallowed keypresses. hb700 has much more interrupts.

The MSX mouse counts things in the mouse, so movement is not lost while disabled interrupts.
But on normal diskROM, the mouse pointer could be stuck for long time.
Therefore I get the theory that the hb700 diskROM was modded just for the appearance in hibrid GUI.
And the extreme low transfer as a result hints that it is just a hack of same old diskROM, no new strategy.
