Turbo fire? Just a gamble...
The version for MSX has two rows of buttons. Each row has the same functionality: fire A + fire B (space bar + M key in the Nemesis series).
No autofire, my guess is that the buttons are repeated like in some arcades to provide more for comfort, you can use more than one finger to push them!
By the way, the one sold 30 years ago only has two fire buttons:

Wel,l received my MSX and USB Pro versions. And I must say it's a Joy(stick) to play with. Only tried the USB Pro for now with openMSX and OpenEmu on my Macbook Pro. I'll try the MSX one later. WOndering what those 4 buttons do on the MSX one. Ofcourse A+B but what about the other two?
The 3rd button is mapped as "UP", i think for the game where you have to jump with "UP"
That's not what I've heard watching a review on YouTube:
The reviewer states that the buttons are repeated, same functionality for each row.
Funny, with mine the 3rd button is an extra "A" button and the 4th is an extra "Up" button.
That's probably the definitive configuration.
The reviewer says that he has a preproduction unit.
What are your thoughts about the button layout of your unit?
It's great. Would have been nice if it supported joymega but happy with it as it is.
Got my Telemach 200 for MSX (customized) today! Pictures galore:
Unfortunately their price has significantly increased since they were reintroduced three years ago (from €75 to €90,75€ the MSX base model without customization):

If I knew it before!
So nice!
Some months ago I was about to buy the same model, but I backed out last minute. I really want to support people still doing MSX-stuff, but this joystick would cost me 182 euros (shipping to Norway + customs/handling + VAT), so I chose another one on ebay instead. But I'm sure it's a great product!!!
