OeiOeiVogeltje; Yes, try to flash it on another machine instead of on a Turbo-R
(we didn't try that on the MVM clubday)

Yes we did on a nms 8250 ! And on your own nms8245
But i can flash my sunrise on a turbo-r so why would it be a problem ?

its not on a socket and its small !

i do see something that could be a JIG or something...

So buy a new flashrom and there some people on the MvM club that will want to solder it for you.
But then again you did make a Gr8bit yourself so don't be afraid and just cut if off and solder a new one on there.
Flashrom is the AM29F040B see Farnell

Congrats with the happy return to operation!

I have two Seagate SCSI drives with 50 pin. One in a case with power (the drive of the developer of TED/MEMMAN Ries Vriend ST-138), one without (ST3238 Seagate iirc). Used to work on MSX once, No idea of current condition.

Free for the equivalent of a decent bottle of wine and transport costs.
