Hallo,

Gr

Richard

You can create a single partition with OCM-SDBIOS in an MSX-DOS 2 environment or use the NEXTOR function CALL FDISK from MSX BASIC to create many partitions. In the second case you will have limitations to the use of the internal MEGA-SD due to the kernel not fully compatible. In any case, you must first update the firmware that you find on my page KdL Index!

I made one partition on the sd-card in windows 10. The partition is Fat16.
So does it need files into that partition ?
I do not have the Zemmix yet, so i want to do that in Window10

if it is MSXDOS 2, yes it needs msxdos2.sys and command2.com to boot into DOS, those 2 files need to be in there minimally.

plus it probably then needs fat16.com as well.
If you are going to use nextor, then fat16.com is not necessary. Then instead of msxdos2.sys, you need nextor.sys

You can make more partitions, but you will have to map them so they get a drive designation

32 GB SD card

I want to make 3 or 4 partitions: MSX1, MSX2, MSX2PLUS and TEST

Where do i have to put the MSXDOS2.SYS COMMAND2.COM files, so the card can startup ?

I can make the partitions with the program "MiniTool Partition Wizard", FAT and clustersize: standard

So when i see my partions in Windows10, the look like, for example

F: name"MSX1
G: name"MSX2"
H: name"MSX2PLUS"
I: name"TEMP"

Where do i have to put the MSXDOS2.SYS COMMAND2.COM files, so the card can startup ?
