I think it's not necessary to put the SCC category when the SCC+ category is put because SCC+ supports SCC at 100%.

It seems me correct but the text "Konami SCC and SCC+ emulation" on GR8NET and Carnivore2 pages is ambiguous, as it could mean that the end-user would have the choice between SCC and SCC+ emula!ion (what's probably not the case, but it needs to be checked)

Since the use of K051649 & K052539 is (way) more common/widespread (at least in certain circles), I think it makes a lot of sense to mention those codes in the pages and perhaps have redirect pages for them, or (perhaps better) make them part of the page titles. E.g. 'Konami 2312P001', while perhaps (dunno) (technically) more correct, looks alien to me (and probably others). In the same vein it's probably a good idea put SCC(-I) in the title as well (in parentheses perhaps)? (Just ¢2.)

Konami 2212P003 and Konami 2312P001 are just for the page about the component. This is the designation used in Japan. Otherwise, it stills SCC or SCC+ or Sound Cartridge as the case may be.

K051649 & K052539 an surprising choice. In general, it is the largest or at the center indication that matters. Someone even went so far as to make fake datasheets.

About SCC-I, it should be deleted and just keep the remark that says it's a wrong name

Seeing the Konami's LSI chips on the following wiki, I see that most of the references are a 6 digit number which begins with zero or five when there is no zero. The same goes for SCC chips. There is not the K that had to be added. So, I'm going to use this number for our wiki as well.

About the Sanyo MLP-001, on the wiki page it first says it works only with MSX’s that have a PAL composite output. Later it is stated it works with both PAL and NTSC. So which one is is?

According Sd snatcher who made this addition on 5 March 2020, "MLP-001 works fine on NTSC too" (See history of the page).
But iirc, Brazil uses a special PAL norm (PAL-M), that is very similar to NTSC. So what???

I don’t know, page is just contradicting at the moment. If it does work on NTSC than the first mention of it requiring PAL should be removed.

I can try it out later this week, I just got an MLP-001 and can give it a swirl with a Japanese MSX and a CRT screen.

The FAQ is too crowded. It would take a big cleaning. There are several things that would be better elsewhere.
