I've added a page about this special hardware: https://www.msx.org/wiki/Stichting_CODE_MultiCartridge_MCR

Two questions:
* Is it compatible with Turbo R computers ?
* Is it compatible with computers whose Z80 speed can be been brought to 7 Mhz?

Does someone know the answer !o these questions?

About Sakhr AX-350:

Alexey, are you sure for the change you have made on the Wiki page? Many AX-350 are actually AX-350II, but you can only see it on the label, not in front.

The menu of a real AX-350 is not the same as the AX-350II menu. I think the real AX-350 has old versions of both Word Processors (= the versions that are in Arabic Sakhr MSX1 computers).

By the way, if you have a real AX-350 (not a AX-350 with a AX-350II label), it would be interesting to dump the ROMs....

I couldn't find it in the MCM. I also don't know anyone who ever owned this beast.
I did see the prices were lowered later. The original proces are in MCM 36. The 2MB and 4MB versions were introduced later. And "Stichting CODE" seems to have vanished at some point, but "Vroegop Postorders" got all the rights for it. I guess both were run bij Micha Vroegop from Schaijk. If I'm not mistaken he also did the short lived magazine "New MSX" and had a relationship with MSX Mozaik, look for "P&MSX nieuwsbrief".

Maybe Msxholder?

My guess is that is not compatible with both Turbo R and 7Mhz CPU, as the MCM review does not talk about tests on Turbo R and mentions that the creators of the beast were hoping to make it work with 6Mhz CPU (what's different from 7Mhz).

Also a 4MB version? I must add it!

I made a mistake, the original prices are in nr 40:

Quote:

MCR-025 met 256 kB RAM: .f 499,-
MCR-051 met 512 kB RAM:.f 579,-
MCR-076 met 768 kB RAM: .f 659,-
MCR-I02 met 1024 kB RAM:.f 739,

And in nr 49 there is the news about Vroegop Postorders and a 2MB version, which is temporary cheaper:

Quote:

De nieuwe verkoopprijzen zijn als volgt:
MCR 256 kB f 399,-
MCR 512 kB f 449,-
MCR 768 kB f 499,-
MCR 1024 kB f 549,-
MCR 2048 kB f 799,-
Nogmaals, de laatste versie is tijdelijk nog
goedkoper, zie de advertentie Vroegop
Postorders.

Looks like no 4MB version, sorry about that.

MSX Club Magazine 34 also has an article about it, but it doesn't provide a lot of extra info.

Also MSX Club Magazine 36.

Looks like there were problems with some programs. 4MB version was probably planned, but never released, due to all these problems (and we know that 4MB has been a long time a problem when you wanted to use such RAM expansion with Turbo R).

So I found some „hidden MSX hardware“ Wink It’s a Philips 22ER9010 mouse that was sold with/for the Professional CDI180. From the shape it immediately was interesting and I purchased it. The internals are identical to the MSX mice (I included a photo of it next to a Sony MOS-1) but it has a different connector that still has 9 pins (they probably sold these at pro prices and did not want them to use cheap MSX mice).
