Yes it was available in Belgium along with the 8010 but not for very long.

What mouse is this? It came with an MSX computer, I tested it and it works and is recognized as MSX-mouse by HIDTEST. But I cannot find any info on it (and the labels seem to have gone missing so that does not help).

It looks like a Neos MS-10, which was also released under other brands - https://www.msx.org/wiki/Neos_MS-10

As most brands are printed in the hardware, it could be a Philips VZ-1921 or a Victor HC-A704M, with an unusual color for the buttons.

As you are living in the Netherlands, it's probably a rare version of the Philips mouse. But if you got it with a Victor computer, then it's a rare version of the Victor mouse.

That was what I thought as well but the size and shape of the buttons is different, they are narrower and flat on this one.It came with a HX-10 and a HB-75D (German model).

Any other countries in which the VG 8000 was sold?

Apparently there was also a version of the HBD-50 localized for the German market (called HBD-50D) which is not yet mentioned in the Wiki entry of the HBD-50:

Here's a suggestion for that description table that the pages about each MSX computer have on the wiki: add a line to list its keyboard layout.

I've just finished to update all the Wiki pages about the MSX/MSX2/MSX2+/Turbo R machines with this additional info.

While doing that, I've noticed a few mistakes in the openMSX xml files:
* Pioneer PX-7, PX-V60 and UC-V102 : the Japanese keyboard layout is JIS, not jp_ansi (JP50on)
* Sanyo MPC-25FD: the Japanese keyboard layout is JP50on, not JIS

Okay it seems my earlier remark regarding the grey PHC-23J was wrong. It seems on the box it is marked as PHC-23J(GR), just not on it’s label.

I think the PHC-23J first came out in gray only, then a second revision in gray PHC-23J(GR) or blue PHC-23J(B).
