What programm do you use to convert images into .scX ?
What screen would be best? I think for monochromic images there would be screen 7 best, eventually with interlace. I´d like to use them on real MSX, but i´m not experienced in converting pics.
Digitized images alwas have a bad taste for me, that´s what Amiga users did...

That would be (for me) BMP2MSX.

Ahhh, I never got a Windows, I´m still using a Mac...
I got plenty of MSX images now and like to make a photobook with one side the original picture, other side a .scX.
Maybe somebody out there want to help?
Thanks.

Try to contact the author of CocoaMSX, the blueMSX port for Mac OS, I think he can give you some good advices.

Unfotunately Akop can´t help.
@Louthrax: Which routine did you use to convert the images?

I'm using my own MIFui tool that is part of the MIF package. You can preview your changes in real time, and I've heard that it works on Linux with Wine. The package also includes a command line version, and a viewer for MSX-DOS (to display .MIF compressed images).

That could be an interesting workshop (seeing the differences between MSX, MSX 2 and MSX 2+ conversions, explaining the blinking effect of interlaced mode on real CRT, choosing the best screen mode depending on the number of colors or details of each source image...).
