That's exactly the same but translated (and dubbed) into Japanese!

All explanations here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnsjcSMiNB8&nohtml5=False

The guy even made a playable "youTube port" of the LD : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqJks8j7Tww&annotation_id=annotation_438405&feature=iv&src_vid=XnsjcSMiNB8
(be sure to read explanations in the 1st link).

Acting is quite good in fact !

There are two MysteryDisc:

MysteryDisc: Murder, Anyone? (ミステリーディスク殺人はいかが)
One Laser Disc (HG041-13VM, ¥5.800) and a tape (LCT001, ¥3.800)

MysteryDisc: Many Roads to Murder (ミステリーディスク殺しの迷路)
One Laser Disc (HG043-13VM, ¥6.800) and a tape (LCT002, ¥3.800)

The tapes LCT001 and LCT002 are for Palcom.

On following site it is written that MysteryDisks are playable on any LD player. The tapes did not seem indispensable.

Thx to share.

Tapes probably just allow your MSX to act as a remote command for the LD? Maybe with some exta features?
No .CAS images of these tapes available anywhere ?

The MSX could be superimposing things.
I'd love to see the cas/wav files of these tapes but I've never found them, or seen the originals for sale.

Wow this is amazing, thanks for sharing Sean! I wonder how hard would it be to make a new "virtual" laser disc game for MSX?

I don't think it's hard, actually! Smile
