Yeah, I get all of that behaviour too on openMSX, but there's no reset when press 9 without any carts inserted.

Hi, mistake again ;-) Sorry.

I've restored the original config, it's just swap the wires.

Really, there's no RESET after pressing "9" then RETURN.

With the MOD or without the MOD.

The RESET only happens with the FDD interface in any slot in the original config.

Back to original config, with F1-Spirit inserted in any slot, when the MSX is turned on, it runs the game.

In the modified config, application runs first. THen after you select 9 and hit Return, it runs the game without RESET.

So, that's the reason to have choosen slot 3 for the firmware, but at the same time it prevents to use a floppy drive !

Not be able to use the FDD also in the ML-F120D.
Since the ML-F120 and design is different, but must find a solution, I do not know it.
What should I do?

ML-F120D

What is the difference between the ML-F120 and the ML-F120D?
Can you make ROM dumps and run diagnostic tools like MSXMEM2.BAS and IDENT.BAS?

Manuel : A part of the answer is in the Wiki, the another part is in the comparison of the PCB's.

Please enlighten me, while I check out the Wiki.

OK, as far as I can see, the only difference is that the D has RGB-out, right?

Yes, but I can't understand why you need a confirmation. Reading is enough !
