Seems some interference issue if you google for BEX64... most likely your antivirus suite.

Not sure about this, but we do compile with MS Visual C++ 2019. Is ther any more information in your Event Viewer or somewhere else?

I don't know what happened, but the story is:

1) fresh install OpenMSX 16 -> BEX64 error...
2) install VC19 Redis, restart computer, and try OpenMSX 16 and BEX64 error again...
3) shutdown computer, and sleep...
4) wake up, breakfast, start computer and uninstall OpenMSX 16...

5) install OpenMSX 11. Test with Panasonic FS-A1GT, and worked! Mouse not worked in MSX-View

6) install OpenMSX 12. Test with Panasonic FS-A1GT, and worked! Mouse not worked in MSX-View...

7) install OpenMSX 13. Test with Panasonic FS-A1GT, and worked! Mouse not worked in MSX-View...

8) install OpenMSX 14. Test with Panasonic FS-A1GT, and worked! Mouse worked in MSX-View, because I added it in joystick port (using the MENU button)! But the cursor is not "exactly paired", see: https://youtu.be/FR9ikdE8E9Q

9) install OpenMSX 15. Test with Panasonic FS-A1GT, and worked! Mouse working, but unpaired

10) install OpenMSX 16. Test with Panasonic FS-A1GT, and worked!?!?!?!?!

As I saw in internet, the "BEX64 Error" can be related with: software conflict. The test with OpenMSX 16 was done without any other software running (avast and dropbox, and other services, was running)

Then I made a final test with a bunch of software running: Codelobster IDE, Notepad++, SyncToy, MySQL Workbench, and some other utilities (Bible and schedule).

And OpenMSX 16 worked very fine. (but mouse is stil unpaired, and now I realize that the "real mouse cursor" is white, while it was black before, see: https://youtu.be/n0RrIXkIZoc)

Well... I wish any problem could be solved with a good sleep...
