got problem installing on win xp

hi,i have a old laptop which run 32 bit win xp,however,the win xp 32 bit package refused to run on my laptop(by keep saying this is not a correct 32 bit program),what should i do?

Years ago it was announced that winxp would not be supported anymore. Dunno if that actually happened, but it looks like it.

Try An older release... Latest releases do not support windows xp.

we dropped XP support because of the severely outdated directx components that are needed. Add an incompatibility with newer compilers and XP not being supported anymore and the decision was easy.

openMSX 0.12.0 (released 3 years ago) was the last to support Windows XP.
