What exactly is going wrong? Are you talking about the end-part with the credits? That looks pretty normal to me...

Also, I once recorded FDD2 (see my YouTube video), is something wrong in that video's last part too then, as you suggest?

I've tried it with different machines, but there is no greetings logo on top of the screen, the same goes wrong with the end demo of FDD #1. You do see the text, but no demo logo's.
On your video, yo do see the greet-nx logo, but over here I see it in a short flash and then only text, so you also see the scroll being built.

That is what I get. No Greet-nx logo. I used VGT8235 with FP Stereo Pak & NMS1205, but I get the same using Sony HB700 or a Turbo-R.

Did you put the accuracy setting to 'pixel'?

No idea, I will check that when I get home. I think it's on "screen" though. Can that cause this issue?

Hmm. can't edit anymore Smile
Indeed, it was on "screen". With "pixel", the screensplit works fine.
Still can't use OpenMSX for FDD#1 though. Or is there an easy way to get rid of the Power & FDD LED's? In that case I can use an external program to rip the outputscreen.

I would have found this a more logical location:

https://openmsx.org/manual/commands.html

But wasn't able to find it there...
Thanks :)

OK... not very happy about the results with OBS either. And recoding into chuncks doesn't allow the use of the -doublesize function. I think I'm going to give up on making a recording through OpenMSX of this demo. It's way to much work to get a decent result. I'll leave it with the BlueMSX version for now.

Maybe a nice idea for a future release: Allow recoring to a file-format which does allow multiple frequencies, like NYYRIKKI sugested.

Anyway thanks for all your ideas!

And I am still very happy with the recording results for FDD2, FDD2 Promo & Yellow Alert. These look perfect (in my eyes).

OK, sometimes you have to get frustrated to get motivated Smile

* Save in chunks with OpenMSX
* Upscale, convert all to 60Hz & encode to h264 in Xmedia Recode
* Merge them into one with avi demux
* crop & reencode with Handbrake to webbased .mp4

And then you finally get this: FDD #1

P.S.
& sorry for spamming my own thread...
