Just thought I mention it, but with the openmsx 0.10 version came a new catapult version. I found a little anoying bug. When you are in a game and want to insert another disk, after selecting the diskimage, the textbox stays blank and no diskimage is selected. The work around is to click the dropdown button and select the image (because after loading it will be top in this list) OR first clicking "eject diskimage" and then press the "load diskimage" button.

The Kid.

I can reproduce the issue and will investigate it. Thanks for reporting!

OSD menu is like METRO in Windows 8 ... Brilliant on a tablet but on a desktop i prefer Catapult ? (Startmenu)
Dont get me wrong, i like OSD but on a desktop Catapult is more efficiënt. Just my 2 cents.

AxelF: you can use the mouse with the OSD menu too Smile If you like that.

Max: that's cool to hear after all the effort we put into it Smile Feel free to join in the discussion of the topic of the OSD menu and tell us what you think of it (what do you want to see changed/improved/added).

@ Manuel: I just installed 0.10.0 and testing it so I can comment on it. I do have some requests, but I will put them all together to make it simple.

Great, thanks! No promises though, the OSD framework is quite limited, so it's hard to get everything in. It never was meant to be a full fledged GUI toolkit and it never will be.

Despite that, do not let yourself be limited in giving suggestions!

TheKid: although the textbox stays blank, we do see here that the disk image is actually inserted for openMSX. Can you check that again?

I've compiled a new openMSX with catapult with today's/yesterday's big fixes. Get it from http://openmsx.fixato.net/builds/windows/

Let us know how this works for you.

@Manuel: Well, it behaves strangly. Sometimes the image is indeed selected, but not always. For instance, I was making a harddisc image and wanted to copy several files on it from different diskettes. At some point after inserting another disk, typing "DIR" gave the file info of the prior diskette and not the diskimage inserted at the moment. The only workaround that always works is to first press eject, then selecting a diskimage. (and the correct file is shown in the textbox).

We've been working on some issues with this, please help testing! If Vampier builds the latest code, you can help and see whether this issue was fixed or not. (It should be, but you never know.)
