NekoLauncher OpenMSX is not updated since a long time. If you use OpenMSX 0.15.0, the new machines and extensions are not usable. Here is a method to update these databases manually.

1. Download the archive below and replace the extention_list.xml and machine_list.xml files with new from the archive (see the Readme.txt).

https://mon-partage.fr/f/Q36vvFBI/

2. Actualize the content of extentions/ and machines/ folders. These are in the folder ~/Documents/.openMSX/share/. (To open the .openMSX/ folder, go to NekoLauncher OpenMSX's preferences ([Command]+[.]) then select the System tab, and click to the little folder icon of "User Data folder:".

3. Select OpenMSX 0.15.0 if it is not done yet (clicking on the little penguin above the small folder icon).

Now you can restart NekoLauncher OpenMSX and enjoy new machines and extensions. :RNFF:

For those who do not know NekoLauncher openMSX. That is an openMSX UI for Mac OS.

I do not know if it works under the newer Mac OS by cons.

It's a pity that the program doesn't query the list of machines and extensions from openMSX, like Catapult.

Trick to emulate the MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD:
If you rename SDcard1.sdc and SDcard2.sdc by SDcard1.img and SDcard2.img in the ~.OpenMSX/share/extensions/MegaFlashROM_SCC+_SD.xml text file. You will able to mount the image disk directly by a double click to change the contain. Smile

Warning: Before also rename your image files in ~.OpenMSX/persistent/MegaFlashROM_SCC+_SD/ execute one time OpenMSX and quit it. Then delete the created SDcard1.img and SDcard2.img and rename your previous SDcard1.sdc and SDcard2.sdc by SDcard1.img and SDcard2.img. If you rename them before, they will be overwritten.

This trick is also possible for Sunrise IDE/CF if there is only one partition.

Are you sure about the overwritten thing? Perhaps you renamed them while openMSX was running? Please try again.
You should be able to do this:
1. make sure openMSX is not running (at least with that MegaFlashROMSCC+ SD extension)
2. rename the file names in the extension XML file
3. rename the disk image files in persistent/etc/
4. start openMSX with the extension
This should not overwrite anything.

OpenMSX was not running but NekoLauncher was working. It may be because of that.

PS: We can reverse the name of files SDcard1.img and SDcard2.img to put the biggest first.

You can set it up any way you like, any size and name. The size in the XML file is only used to create files if they don't exist.
