Does openMSX for Android have a debugger and/or a disassembler?! If no then why not?! it'll be of great aid to debug and disassemble the contents of memory (RAM/ROM) and CPU registers/flags/etc and it could be a great machine code learning tool. I remember BrMSX for DOS which I was using on my old Pentium 2 PC. BrMSX has a built-in debugger & disassembler which was an important tool for me. I wish openMSX has such an important addition.

Hi eimaster, I don't think it does because the OpenMSXDebugger is a separate application that you launch separately, and then connect it to OpenMSX. I don't think the debugger is available for Android, unless someone has ported it.

I am not sure if other MSX emulators offer this though!

The openMSX debugger is a GUI that just visualises results of openMSX console commands. So, almost all functionality can also be used from the openMSX console, although it is a lot less comfortable.

Check the openMSX manual on console commands for all details. Look for disasm and debug commands.
