When openMSX emulates any MSX2 machine you cannot see when you turn the width to 80 columns in BASIC!

Can you please check the latest Android developer build? It uses a scale_factor of 2, which should show proper 80 columns.
(Note that due to a bug in the Android SDL framework, we cannot allow changing of scale_factor, as it crashes the app. That's why it is fixed. But now the fixed value is 2, instead of 1.)

Looking for feedback how this works on your device!

Get it here: http://openmsx.fixato.net/builds/android/

You have linked to the page that hosts the picture, not to the picture itself. You need to use the menu More Tools/Development Tools (in Chrome) to find the links of the pictures ( in the Sources tag). This tool can also be reached by making a right-click outside the picture and selecting something like 'Inspect' (I have French Windows, so I'm not sure of the names used in English Windows).

Here's the direct link to the big version of the PNG picture:
https://www.msx.pics/images/2018/09/03/MSX-BIOS-with-BASIC-R...

And it gives this with the img tags:

Thanks to both of you! Smile

eimaster: you may also enjoy the OSD features in better resolution. E.g. the toggle_info_panel is now usable on Android too.

I cannot use my PC. I only use my Android mobile to surf the net. So, I used my phone to get to my account on www.msx.pics then I ubloaded the picture. There is an arrow leaning to the right. I clicked it and the share link I got is this:
https://www.msx.pics/image/Uupnr, which I guess won't display the image here. So, any help on how to get the displayable link of my www.msx.pics images via mobile phone?!

Success Smile
I just long pressed on the download image icon on www.msx.pics and a pop-up menu showed from which I chose Copy link address, then I came here and pasted the link in the insert image box. Simple.
Thanks for your care.
